Welcome to our wedding website, we can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you.

We’ve created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all of the important details with you in the lead up to our wedding.

About Sophie

Sophie is an awesome Australian who met a strange man called Ben aka Benny, and decided to move to the other side of the world to be with him! Sophie loves her life in England and wouldn't change it for anything (except have all her family move closer - obvs). Sophie's pastimes are going out for a cheeky Indian with Stevo and being at home - doing DIY, that Benny hates (sorry not sorry!!). In 2021 we welcomed our gorgeous (puppy) child Albus into our family, who claimed his title as The Boss from day 1.

Sophie loves: cuddles, Albi, and ice cream.

Sophie dislikes: backwash (if you know, you know), manky potatoes that start to grow and not having enough room in bed to starfish!

About Ben

At 23, Ben (Benny) went to Australia and won the heart of the beautiful Sophie. Since then his life has changed dramatically (in a good way!). Ben's favorite pastimes are going climbing, going to the movies and being a hermit at home. Ben has accepted his fate as Sophie's Number 2, after the rightful King Albus.

Ben loves: Being a sloth at home with Sophie, Climbing and speaking his mind - even at the most inappropriate times.

Ben dislikes: Sophie hogging all of the bed, vegetables and getting up early.

About Sophie and Ben

HOW WE MET...

Benny & I met in Melbourne, Australia. We don't like to admit it... but we met on Tinder! I can't say for Ben but it was love at first sight for me, and I loved his cool English accent - obvs it's not that cool now! We spent the first couple of months going out with my best friend Bridget to a club called Bang and enjoying lovely food in Chapel Street and the CBD.

THE PROPOSAL...

Ben proposed on the 30th Jan 2019 on our 3rd year anniversary. We went to Bedgbury Pinetum during the day and went for a lovely forest trail walk. Once we got home, Ben proposed in the living room. It was beautiful and a real surprise. I saw a little tag on the ring and thought ben had left the price on it (as Ben would)!! We then went out to dinner with Pauline, Steve and Rachael to celebrate Paulino's Birthday and our engagement.

We are hoping for good weather so we can enjoy the day outside, but you may wish to bring a light cover-up in case the evening turns chilly! As you will be spending a lot of time on the grass stilettos are best avoided.

Gift List

Celebrating with you all on our special day is the most important thing to us.

We're lucky enough to have our house that we've made a home. We would love to now make a dream garden.

Rather than a specific gift list, we will have a money tree with envelopes where you can leave messages and cash gifts if you wish.

We love the Greek tradition of pinning money to the Bride & Groom, but we'd rather you tie it to the tree, Aussie Style!
